Amazing Lion Art

On Friday Room 14 did a piece of art inspired by our trip to the Zoo next Thursday. At the start of the session we watched two Youtube clips of lion facts and the students did a great job at recalling these back at the end. The students then created their very own lion pictures by using coloured card and pastels. It was amazing to see the great fine motor skills displayed by the students. All of Room 14 took great care and pride to add small details to their pictures. Please enjoy the pictures below.

Footsteps Dance Lessons Week 1

Today the Rainbow team were lucky to have their first of four dance sessions from Footsteps Dance Company. Today we learnt a dance to the song to a song of the Peanuts Movie - Better When I'm Dancing

The two dance teachers Kate and Cammy broke the dance down step by step throughout the session until the rainbow team had completely learnt the whole dance. Swim Sports

We had a fantastic time at swimming sports today.

We were so proud of all the Room 14 children and the way they listened and tried their hardest with all of the activities.

Thanks heaps to all of the families who came to support their children.

Swimming will be on Monday afternoons in Term 3.
