Sports Day at St Francis Xavier School

On Wednesday the Rainbow team was very lucky to have a sports day at St Francis Xavier School. It was a first trip out from school for all of our new students at school this year. The students managed themselves amazingly on the walk down to the school.

Whilst there the year 5/6 students from St Francis had organised a fun sports day for the junior students from all the schools in Tawa to come and enjoy. The students were organised into small groups and participated in a number of activities from running, skipping, jumping, kicking and balancing. It was great to see the sportsmanship shown by all the Rainbow team.

    Room 14 we were so proud of all of your at the sports day. You had a go at everything and showed amazing respect to each other. Well done :-)

    It looks like everyone had a great time! How great to see 'big' kids organising something so fun for younger children :-)
