Run, run as fast as you can

This week we have enjoyed reading and telling the gingerbreadman story.

Today we heard the story again and had a go at sequencing the story.

We all did a great job of cutting, pasting and ordering the pictures.

Later on we played a maths game where we had to recognise dice patterns and identify the numerals.
The teachers were very impressed with the way the children played the game, took turns and used great turn taking and maths language.

Later on we had fun decorating bags with our word of the week 'can' and making some gingerbread men to put into the bags.

Please ask your children if they can sing the
"I can spell can" song.

  1. Yum!!!! The Gingerbread Man is one of my favourite stories. It looks like you had so much fun with it and did so much learning. Go Room 14!

  3. Noah was very proud of his gingerbread man and enjoyed eating it. He did a great job of telling me the story using the pictures.
