Shape Jack in a Box Art

In the first session of Ready Steady Go on Friday, Room 14 made some Jack in a Box artwork. Students had lots of different sized pieces of coloured paper and had to think of all the different shapes that we have been learning about so far this term to create their very own Jack in a Box. Students could free draw their shapes onto the coloured paper or draw around foam shapes and then cut them out. It was great to hear all the learning conversations that students were having whilst working on their artwork. All students displayed great shape knowledge and were able to name all the shapes they were using. Please enjoy the photographs of their amazing art.
